2016 Australian Paralympic Team $2 Coloured Uncirculated Coin in Folder

Issued in support of the Australian Paralympic Team competing at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games, this official Royal Australian Mint folder contains a coloured $2 uncirculated coin.

The dynamic reverse design captures an athlete competing in a wheelchair race and incorporates a swirl of green and gold inspired by the Australian Paralympic Committee emblem. Representing determination, strength and self-belief, the coin was released as part of the Royal Australian Mint’s celebration of Australia’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes.

Notably, this was the first Australian $2 coin to feature multiple colours.
