PCGS Grading

Professional grading. Direct submission.

Australian Numismatic Company offers a direct PCGS submission service for Australian collectors who want their coins professionally authenticated, graded and encapsulated.

Most importantly, ANC submits your coins directly to PCGS.

We do not forward your coins to another coin dealer or third-party submission service. From the time your coins are entrusted to ANC, we manage the submission ourselves and send them directly to PCGS for grading.

YOU → ANC → PCGS → ANC → YOU

No third-party submission agent. A clear chain of custody from start to finish.

PCGS Grading Prices

Simple, all-inclusive submission pricing.

Our grading prices include PCGS grading fees, secure international shipping to and from PCGS, and insurance while your coins are in transit.

Service Level ANC Price
Modern Value $42 per coin
Modern $60 per coin
Regular $75 per coin
Express $135 per coin
PCGS TrueView +$5 per coin

The appropriate PCGS service level depends on factors including the coin's date, type and declared value. ANC can help determine the appropriate service for your submission.

How It Works

1. Submit your coins to ANC

Send or deliver the coins you'd like professionally graded. If you're unsure whether a particular coin is worth submitting, talk to us first and we'll help you understand the available options. ANC does not cover postage to us.

2. We prepare your submission

ANC records your coins, prepares the required PCGS submission documentation and determines the appropriate grading service level.

3. We send directly to PCGS

Your coins are securely packaged and dispatched directly from ANC to PCGS.

There is no additional Australian dealer or grading intermediary involved in our submission process.

4. PCGS authenticates and grades your coins

PCGS independently assesses each coin for authenticity and condition before assigning the applicable grade, designation or other result and encapsulating qualifying coins in a PCGS holder.

5. Your coins return to ANC

Once the submission has been completed, your coins are returned to ANC. We check the returned submission and arrange collection or secure delivery back to you.

Why Submit Through ANC?

Direct to PCGS

ANC → PCGS. That's it.

We don't pass your collection to another dealer to submit on our behalf. This provides a simple and transparent chain of custody while your coins are in our care.

Competitive Pricing

Professional PCGS grading should be accessible to collectors. Our submission pricing starts from $42 per coin, with several service levels available depending on the coin being submitted.

We Handle the Process

International submissions can involve paperwork, service-level requirements, packaging, shipping and communication with PCGS.

We take care of the submission process so you don't have to.

One Coin or an Entire Submission

You don't need a large collection to use our service. Whether it's a single coin you'd like preserved and authenticated or a larger group ready for professional grading, we're happy to assist.

Optional PCGS TrueView Photography

Add PCGS TrueView for $5 per coin.

TrueView provides professional high-resolution photography of your coin, creating a permanent digital image associated with the professionally graded piece.

It's particularly worthwhile for higher-value, visually attractive or important coins.

Before Submitting Your Coins

Please do not clean or polish your coins.

Cleaning can permanently alter a coin's surfaces and may affect the outcome of professional grading.

If you're unsure about the condition of a coin or whether it should be submitted, leave it exactly as you found it and speak with us first.

A Note About Grades

ANC facilitates your submission to PCGS but does not determine the grade your coin will receive.

Authentication, grading, designations and other grading decisions are made independently by PCGS under its own standards.

We may provide general guidance about a coin before submission, but no particular grade or grading outcome can be guaranteed.

Turnaround Times

PCGS processing times vary depending on the selected service level, submission volumes and other circumstances.

For this reason, ANC cannot guarantee a specific completion date.

We'll keep you informed about the progress of your submission and contact you once your coins have completed grading and are on their way back.
