1965 State of Bahrain 5-Coin Set – Coin Sets of All Nations

A complete vintage State of Bahrain five-coin set from the Franklin Mint Coin Sets of All Nations collection.

This attractive presentation contains Bahrain’s complete five-denomination coin series dated 1965, representing the country’s early modern coinage prior to the introduction of the Bahraini Dinar.

The set contains:

• 100 Fils – 1965
• 50 Fils – 1965
• 25 Fils – 1965
• 10 Fils – 1965
• 5 Fils – 1965

Each coin features Bahrain’s distinctive date palm design, with Arabic and English inscriptions surrounding the central motif.

The original presentation card is accompanied by a State of Bahrain 15 Fils postage stamp, officially cancelled at Manama, Bahrain on 15 July 1984.

Produced as part of the Franklin Mint’s Coin Sets of All Nations collection, the series combined genuine circulating world coinage with a nationally issued postage stamp and official postal cancellation. Contemporary advertising described the collection as presenting the circulating coinage of each featured nation in mint-fresh condition.

A particularly attractive vintage Middle Eastern coin set, ideal for collectors of Bahrain, Gulf States, Arabic or world coinage.
